Truffle's Story

Small Puppy. Big Mission.
Named after the truffle mushroom, this little brindle recruit may be tiny, but she's already operating with the confidence of a seasoned special forces commander. While her foster family is busy with military discipline and fitness goals, Truffle has taken it upon herself to oversee all important household operations-especially quality control on toys, sticks, and nap schedules.
At just a few months old, Truffle is proving that good things come in small packages. She approaches every day with equal parts curiosity, confidence, and chaos, tackling new adventures like she's training for an elite puppy task force.
Current Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in Crate Training Boot Camp and expected to graduate with honors
Potty training is underway and she's acing her coursework
Cat friendly
Loves other dogs
Certified stick collector
Advanced degree in puppy shenanigans
Her favorite teammate is her foster brother, Jack, who helps her perfect her wrestling moves, zoomies, and general puppy antics. When she's not training with Jack, you'll find her proudly carrying sticks twice her size because apparently size limits are just suggestions.
Truffle may only weigh a few pounds now, but her personality is already larger than life. Between her adorable face, fearless attitude, and endless enthusiasm, she's quickly becoming everyone's favorite little recruit.
She's looking for a forever family ready for puppy adventures, plenty of laughs, and a lifetime of unconditional love.
Warning: Adopting Truffle may result in uncontrollable smiling, excessive photo-taking, random sticks appearing in your house as gifts, and a permanent promotion to her personal support staff.
Apply today and enlist in Team Truffle!

Truffles adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
