True's Story

True is a 1 1/2 year old black male. He is doing great in his new foster home. He is described as a sweet boy. He's eating well, comes in from yard when called, comes up for snuggles and affection. He's going to make a great pet. True is a littermate to Selma. He did great with the foster family's chickens so we expect him to be cat safe. He is definitely cat safe. www.mokangreyhounds.org

MoKan Greyhound Adoption's Adoption Policy

We are first and foremost dedicated to placing retired racing Greyhounds into loving homes. Our placement area most of Missouri and most of Kansas. Because there are many high quality adoption programs across the country, we do not make placements beyond those two states. Greyhounds placed through our program usually are between 18 months and four years old. These ex-racers are intelligent, quiet, clean, gentle, good-natured, adaptable dogs who adjust readily to their new home environment. They are eager to please and respond positively to any attention. They do not require a great deal of space to run, as many people think, but they do need exercise.
