Trudy-Come Meet's Story
Come Meet Gorgeous Trudy at Open House Monday, September 7th, from 3-5 at our facility at 106 Adams St. Medfield. She is estimated to be a 3-year-old terrier mix, 46 lbs, with a lovely gray and white coat. Trudy was adopted to a family that adores her but has become aggressive with the other female dog in the home. She has also struggled with chasing the family cats.

Trudy's Dad has said, "Trudy remains a total sweetheart with people including strangers. She has never showed any signs of aggression towards humans. But it seems she is a dog who needs to be in a home with no other animals." Trudy has also become quite an athlete, able to climb chain link fences, so she should not be left alone in a fenced yard unless it's wooden.

Previously Trudy's foster mom described her as, "an amazing girl who just wants to be everyone's friend." Trudy enjoyed playing in the field at her foster home and laying in the wildflowers.

One of her favorite activities is cuddling on the couch or being a riding buddy in the car. She was a great mom to her four pups (Gamora, Loki, Parker and Logan) who have been adopted.

She is house, crate and leash trained and enjoys going on walks.

Adoption Fee: $500

Adoption Coordinator: Beth

Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.

Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
