Trudy

Trudy's journey started out tough—she came to us with little to no hair and a large tear in her ear after surviving on the streets for a month or so. She desperately needed a soft place to sleep and time to decompress, but after receiving the absolute best care, this resilient little lady has blossomed! Born in April and still quite small, we aren't quite sure of her exact breed, but we believe she is a sweet Chihuahua mix. Her fur is growing back soft as can be, and her unique ear only adds to her fun, spunky personality. Trudy loves to play—throw a ball or a stuffy, and she is immediately zooming after it with a wagging tail, ready to bring it right back for another throw! <br/><br/>She gets along wonderfully with humans big and small, as well as dogs of all sizes—though we aren't sure how she feels about cats, so slow and proper introductions would be best. Wanting her to just relax and heal after arriving, we haven't kenneled her and haven't needed to! She will just need continued guidance with her potty and leash training as she settles into her new home. Trudy is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines (almost complete with her full puppy series!).
