Lookin' for a young, super funny boy who will keep you guessin' for years to come? Hi, I’m handsome and silly Troy. I was found as a stray with my canine sister. I'm a little uncertain in new situations that I've encountered at the shelter. I'm not really scared, but I need reassurance sometimes that all is well. Once I get comfortable, that's when my silly side comes out. I’m truly an easygoing guy who’s always up for whatever adventure you have in mind, whether it’s exploring local hiking trails, wandering the neighborhood, or just relaxing together at home. Give me a chance to try new things and work through my uncertainty. I guess I wasn't exposed to much in my early life.<br/><br/>I do have one request for my future family: no feline roommates, please. Cats are just a little too tempting for me to chase, and I want everyone to stay happy and safe. Great Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy

We are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18. -Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
