Troy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.<br/>Troy has spent more than 288 days living in a noisy, scary kennel in the shelter. Despite all he has had to face, Troy has remained sweet, gentle, smart and so loving. When the shelter made him Final, volunteers feared for his life. Homes for large breed dogs are hard to find these days and few folks are willing to take a chance on a dog who has waited as long as he has. He needed the right family with other dogs to show him how to be a dog in a loving home. Thanks to an amazing, experienced family and their three dogs, we have the immense pleasure of being able to help Troy transition from life as a forgotten shelter dog to one as a loved, valued member of a family pack. Troy still needs time to decompress and learn to live as a family dog, but we will be with him and his foster-to-adopt family every step of the way.
