Troy's Story

TROY is a 3 year old beagle, 26 pounds, neutered. We rescued him and his buddy, Gabriella, also posted, from a kill shelter in North Carolina. They are currently in a loving foster home, but need forever homes. They get along great, but can go to separate homes. Current foster is in Huntersville, NC. But we can transport along the mid-atlantic coast. Troy is fine in a crate, but, would prefer to snuggle on the sofa with his humans. Housebroken. great with kids, cats unknown. Adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/230096471132146. Or Contact Patti at patti@therescueexpress.org for an application.

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop. This partnership with local trainers is essential to making our foster families' lives easier and raises each of our dogs' adoption potential. These trainers are dedicated to savin
