Trout's Story
This guy's a special one. Trout won over his foster during a dog-day-out at the shelter and he has blossomed so much already out of the shelter.
Trout can be shy at first, so he'll need someone patient and understanding. But once you earn his trust, he opens up fast - and that's when the real Trout emerges: goofy, playful, and a little awkward thanks to those long, lanky limbs. He'll have you laughing in no time.
He learns quickly and walks well on leash. He would love an active adopter that loves to play tug or go for runs. Trout is crate trained and making progress with house training. He enjoys being around other dogs and would do well with a resident dog to learn from and lean on but it's not a requirement.
If you're looking for a dog who will repay your kindness tenfold once he trusts you - Trout is your guy. Apply to meet him and give this shelter-grown boy the fresh start he deserves.
