If you want to meet Trixie please fill out.an adoption application at<br/>Perfectlyposhpaws.org<br/><br/><br/> Meet Trixie — 8 Pounds of Sweetness, Sass & the Cutest Little Eyebrows<br/><br/>Pomeranian Mix Female 8 lbs Chicagoland, Illinois<br/><br/>Some dogs are cute.<br/><br/>And then theres Trixie. <br/><br/>This tiny 8-pound Pomeranian mix has the sweetest little face, beautiful black markings, and what appear to be perfectly penciled-in eyebrows above her eyes. <br/><br/>She is estimated to be 1-2 years old.<br/><br/>Once you notice them, you cant unsee them<br/><br/> — and somehow they make every expression she gives you even more adorable.<br/><br/>But Trixies personality is what really steals the show.<br/><br/>When her foster family first met her at the shelter, <br/><br/>Trixie stood up on her back legs, lifted both little paws into the air and looked like she was waving hello. <br/><br/>It was one of the cutest greetings they had ever received from a foster dog <br/><br/>— and a pretty good preview of the charming little girl hiding inside.<br/><br/> Trixie is a people pup<br/><br/>More than anything, Trixie wants her person.<br/><br/>She doesnt need to be entertained every minute. <br/><br/>Shes perfectly happy simply being in the same room with you, quietly lying nearby while you go about your day.<br/><br/>She tends to gravitate toward women first, although she likes men too. <br/><br/>Once she feels comfortable, she is affectionate, loving and wonderfully easy to have around.<br/><br/>And if youre looking for a bed buddy, Trixie may have already packed her tiny suitcase.<br/><br/>She loves to cuddle when everyone settles in for the night, but then politely finds her own comfortable spot <br/><br/>— usually on a pillow or toward the foot of the bed — and sleeps peacefully through the night.<br/><br/> Living with Trixie<br/><br/>Trixie currently lives with other dogs and does very well with them.<br/><br/> She hasnt started playing with them yet and seems to prefer her humans, but we think she could be very happy with a canine sibling.<br/><br/>She may occasionally give another pup a little sass when establishing her boundaries<br/><br/> — but Trixie is absolutely a lover, not a fighter.<br/><br/>Speak to her in a playful voice and you might even activate the Trixie Zoomies! <br/><br/>Toys havent impressed her much yet, but attention from her people certainly does.<br/><br/>She is also refreshingly not a yappy little dog. <br/><br/>She may bark when someone first comes through the door, but she settles quickly.<br/><br/>Trixie is mostly potty trained and is currently learning the routine in her foster home. <br/><br/>When crated as her foster family leaves the house, she may bark initially, but she does settle down. Her upright ears, petite 8-lb size, facial structure, and slightly less dense coat fit.<br/><br/>* She could also have another small Spitz-type breed mixed in.<br/><br/>Her fluffy neck/chest, fox-like face, little pointed ears and coloring are very Pom-like. <br/><br/>And those dark markings over her eyes really do look like tiny penciled eyebrows.
