What is Home Free Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

At Home Free Animal Rescue, our goal is to make adopting a rescue dog as simple as possible. All are temporarily housed in private foster homes, so many are already housebroken or well on the way, some are crate trained, and many are working on leash-walking and basic obedience. Our foster families are also alert to our pets' behaviors and needs so that we are better able to fit pet to adopter based on personality and requirements. When looking to adopt a new friend through HFAR, please be sure to let us know what's important to you, so that we can help place the perfect pet in your home. Is Trixie good with kids?

Trixie is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Trixie good with other animals?

Trixie is good with other dogs. It is not known if Trixie is good with cats.

When can I meet Trixie?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
