After her previous owner fell on hard times, they made the difficult but loving decision to surrender her so she could have a safe and secure future. Before that, Trixie had been overly bred, and while we may not know all the details of her past, we do know she deserves a lifetime of comfort, care, and love.<br/>In foster care, Trixie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for skin issues and allergies. When she first arrived, her skin was red and itchy, but with proper care and nutrition, she’s made an incredible transformation. She now enjoys a carefully prepared home-cooked diet that includes lamb, nutrient-rich vegetables and fruits, and Omega-3 supplements to keep her skin healthy and her allergies under control. She also benefits from a medicated shampoo as needed to keep her coat soft and comfortable, and it’s truly beautiful now!<br/>Trixie loves everyone she meets—people, dogs, and children alike. She is affectionate, well-mannered, and eager to please. Her favorite things include cozy naps, cuddling up with her humans, enjoying a good meal, and stretching out in a comfy bed for a great night’s sleep.
