He and his siblings were abandoned in the game lands, and heartbreakingly, three of them were hit by a car. Trip is one of the brave survivors, and he's ready for a future filled with nothing but love.<br/><br/>Trip is happy-go-lucky, playful, and incredibly cuddly. He's the kind of pup who brings joy wherever he goes. He loves to snuggle and thrives on being close to people. While he came to us a little unsure about fast movements or reaching hands, Trip is blossoming with patience and kindness. His confidence grows daily, and so does his love for people.<br/><br/>Trip's DNA blend makes him extra special: Standard Poodle + American Pit Terrier, with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel mixed in. Smart, sweet, and eager to please-Trip is ready to be your best friend for life. <br/><br/>Before completing an application, please take into consideration breed characteristics, puppy shenanigans, and estimated full-grown size.<br/> I am full of razor-sharp puppy teeth and LOVE to chew.<br/> I am not house trained or crate trained (but I'm working on it).<br/> I need daily exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment-not long hours confined in a crate.<br/> I require quality time to learn good manners, basic obedience, house training, and proper socialization.<br/> I've had a rough start in life and need a home committed to helping me learn what love and loyalty really mean.<br/> We place our dogs and puppies into homes that meet their specific needs.<br/><br/>Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and updates on our rescues:<br/>Canine Partners Program Inc<br/><br/>Please note:<br/>We cannot guarantee breed or breed mix, as our information is often limited to what is observed or shared by a previous owner.<br/>Changes in environment may also affect behavior-so while we do our best to assess each dog, we cannot guarantee personality traits, temperament, or preferences.<br/><br/>All of our dogs are fully vetted, including:<br/> Spay or neuter<br/> Age-appropriate vaccinations<br/> Rabies vaccination<br/> Microchipping<br/> Heartworm and Lyme testing<br/> Deworming<br/> Flea and tick treatment<br/> Heartworm prevention<br/> Any other necessary medical care<br/><br/>Foster-to-adopt means the dog will live with you while completing any remaining veterinary care. Once completed, the adoption is finalized.<br/><br/>Each adoption includes a 6-week group obedience class (a $125 value).<br/><br/>If adopting a puppy under 6 months of age, we cover the cost of spay/neuter at the appropriate time.<br/><br/>Paws-in-Prison dogs are not available for adoption until they complete their training program.
