Trip's Story
Meet Trip!
(Affectionately known as Frank by his foster family).

Trip is a (estimated) 4 year old beagle mix. All 40 pounds of him is full of love! Trip loves other dogs, ignores cats, and loves people of all ages. He is overall a very friendly guy with a laid back demeanor. But, dont let that calm demeanor fool you. Trip loves a good rough house with other dogs (Trips foster has two high energy resident dogs that Trip gets along with great). Though Trip has a playful side, he is also the typical lazy hound. He enjoys a bit of play time and then lots of time chilling on the couch with a toy or snuggling. Trip can get a bit anxious but settles well in his crate. He is a great snuggler and always wants to be where his people are - and on (top of) them as well.

Trip took a few days to decompress and needs a home that is willing to give him the time/safe space to relax in order for him to show his true side and best self. Trip is not very noisy for a hound and only will occasionally howl. The fosters dogs brought a lot of confidence out of Trip and he should ideally be in a home with another dog. He is also an escape artist and a RUNNER. Trip requires a secure fence to stay safe in. He is not a jumper/climber... but if he sees an opening he will not hesitate to make a run for it.

Trip is potty trained, crate trained, good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Trip is in need of some leash manners but he is not reactive.

Interested in adopting?
