Trina's Story

Trina is a tiny little girl weighing 3 lbs who found herself abandoned in a cornfield. She came to us with several medical issues that seem to be resolving themselves nicely!

Trina is about 9 years old and will need a person or family that is experienced with tiny dogs and their delicate health needs. She has a non functioning rear leg, (her knee slips out of joint) but that doesn’t stop her from running around and enjoying outdoor time. She does not like to be picked up, and squirms and tries to get down. She can easily be injured if picked up or held incorrectly.

Trina loves to follow very closely. She needs a very tuned in person who will not step on her.

She is not potty trained and probably never will be. She does use a pee pad when available.

Despite her obstacles, Trina is very happy and affectionate!

This is a special little girl! Please, no out of state adoptions.
