Tribute

Hi, my name is Tribute. I was rescued in honor of one of my K9 friends who was severely abused by a human and did not make it, despite the vet team's best efforts. I am just a little guy, but have a big name to live up to!<br/><br/>I am between 1 to 2 years old and 17 lbs. A little low rider with some Corgi and who knows what else! My owner died and I was confiscated and brought to the shelter. It was loud and noisy and I was really scared, so they put me on the kill list. My life went from bad to worse. But then my angel appeared in the form of a Red Collar Rescue volunteer, and I was pulled to safety.<br/><br/>I am now fully vetted and living in a foster home. My foster mom says I am adorably cute and snugly. I am a little shy at first, but just give me a little time to warm up and I will be your best friend. I like my calm puppy pals and even the cat at my foster home. I am a good boy that would just love to be at your side, or of course in your lap. <br/><br/>Update from Tribute and his foster family:<br/><br/>My foster family likes to call me Buggs because I'm a love bug, a snuggle bug and small like a bug. I play great with other dogs, don't need a ton of exercise but will keep up on long walks and have a blast at the park. I'm crate trained and know my commands, kids make me nervous, but I'm learning they are not all bad!
