MEET TREVOR! STATS: 1 year old, neutered, Staffy Mix, 47 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: If good energy had a poster pup, it would be me! I am just a fun and wacky boy looking for his forever home. I have a lot of goofy energy to keep you active, and you might start to tone your abdominal muscles from laughing so hard. Even though I am a playful and fun guy, I really do seek out my human friends and stand at their feet patiently waiting for pets. I am pretty much the best of both worlds – energetic and affectionate! WHAT I LOVE: I love playing with other dogs! I have the best time jogging around with the other dogs, rolling in the grass, and enjoying quality time with my people. I also really love getting scratches! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would do well in a home with older children that are kind and respectful towards me. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who needs an active best buddy! A fenced in yard would be beneficial if you aren't as active as I am. I would also do well with another dog in the home, but it's not mandatory! I am such a happy and loving guy, and I would be glad to have a family that loves me! SPECIAL NOTE: My wonky ears look like they’re trying to pick up radio signals! Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
