He is very smart having learned "sit", "off" and "no". He is a cuddle bug and loves being with people and other dogs.

Bud loves to play, and be outside but he also likes being close to his people. He definitely has the beagle trait for food and is very food driven, but this makes his training easier as he will do anything for a treat.

Bud is 90% house-broken, he knows to go outside but sometimes his excitement will lead to an accident, very impressive for a puppy. A funny thing about him is when he is hyper you can pick him up and he melts into calmness. Bud is 100% crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
----------------------------
Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
