Traveler's Story

Meet Traveler, a resilient sweetheart whose journey hasn’t been easy but whose spirit has never dimmed. He arrived at the shelter as a wounded stray, carrying the marks of a hard life: an injured leg, a puncture wound on his face, and a body covered in fleas. Even then, Traveler greeted staff with gentle eyes and a soft heart, grateful for every kind word and gentle touch.
After some much-needed rest and recovery, Traveler is finally ready to enjoy life again. He’s stretching his legs, rediscovering playtime, and showing us just how joyful and goofy he truly is. This boy loves his humans, has a wonderfully playful spirit, and already knows "sit." He’s also super treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for everyone.
Traveler enjoys romping around the yard with his female friend Delta, and now that he’s healed, he’s ready to meet more dog pals. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet due to his medical recovery, but we’re happy to explore that as he continues to settle in.
He’s still working on his leash manners, he can get excited and pull a bit, but with his love of treats and eagerness to please, he’s well on his way to becoming a great walking companion.
Traveler dreams of a home where he can finally relax, play, and be loved. A comfy couch, a couple of toys, maybe a backseat spot for car rides. He’d make an excellent road-trip buddy and an even better best friend.
Traveler is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations.
