TAYLA (5/6 years) & TOULOUSE (6/7years)<br/><br/>This beautiful pair of bonded dogs are looking for a brand new forever home. They are the sweetest beings, each with a different and special personality.<br/><br/>Both dogs have been spayed / neutered and vaccines are up to date.<br/><br/>TAYLA & TOULOUSE were found left for 2 days after their owner was sadly found deceased in the bathtub in Toronto in late December 2024.<br/><br/>We took them into our care and they are currently in foster care Fonthill (Niagara area near St Catherine’s), being pampered and loved as they so deserve. As much as the foster would love to keep them, they have a dog and it’s best TOULOUSE & TAYLA are together on their own.<br/><br/>About TAYLA (Pomeranian / Terrier Mix, vaccines up to date, microchipped and will be spayed early February) - She gets along well with other dogs and humans alike, is treat motivated and aims to please. She walks very well on a leash and likes short brisk walks. She loves to sit on your lap, so you would have a perfect combo of having a cat lap dog! TAYLA is very attached to her buddy TOULOUSE. She is fully house trained and goes potty outside, has never had incidents indoors. She has been left alone for up to 6 hours with no incidences and can likely handle a little longer. She is a bubbly little girl, full of life, you would think she's a puppy. <br/><br/>About TOULOUSE (Pure Skye Terrier) - he is a quiet boy, bonded with TAYLA, and is protective of her in his own way. He takes a few days to settle in, but in time, he becomes a big attention seeker, looking for belly rubs and affection. He is a very sweet boy but is strong and needs a bit more training on a leash which his foster is working on. He 'growl talks' to let you know he's not happy, it's the way he communicates. Giving him his space will be very important especially in the first 3 months as he decompresses in his new home. In his quiet way, TOULOUSE has a dominant personality so he would do best to be in a home only with TAYLA, no other pets.<br/><br/>They are wonderful and very smart dogs who are looking for that perfect home. They have not likely been around children, and because TOULOUSE can be moody when caught off guard, it's best there are no children. If they are visiting, they should be respectful and calm with TOULOUSE.
