TOULOUSE - Skye Terrier

TOULOUSE - approx 5.5 years old (DOB July 20, 2020), neutered, vaccines up to date, microchipped.<br/><br/>TOULOUSE and his friend Tayla found themselves left behind when their first owner passed away. We took their case on so they don't end up in the wrong hands. Both were completely checked at the vet, as well as neutered / spayed.<br/><br/>After a few months in foster care, they were adopted by an older couple who love them very much. Sadly, after the wife suffering an anuerysm and open heart surgery, and the dad with a bad back, TOULOUSE is looking for a forever home. The couple already had a senior dog, and have to rehome TOULOUSE & Tayla.<br/><br/>TOULOUSE is a quiet dog, independent, loyal to a fault, can be protective in an unharmful way (he just growls to let you know). He communicates by a low growl which is actually endearing once you get to know him. He is a Skye Terrier and has all the wonderful traits of one.<br/><br/>He is a strong little guy and tends to pull on a leash. He has not had many walks but would benefit from them a lot. A proper harness and guided walks will do him wonders.<br/><br/>Although we felt that we should not separate him from Tayla, we do not think they are as bonded as once believed. However, if you’re open to 2 dogs, we’d love that too! <br/><br/>TOULOUSE can be great as an only dog, in a quiet calm home. He can be a little protective of his female owner, but a knowledgeable experienced adopter who has a partner will totally 'understand' him and will do just fine.<br/><br/>A suburban setting would be idea, but a quieter urban area would be just fine too. TOULOUSE is low maintenance. He will need regular grooming / trim every 3 months or so.<br/><br/>No Cats, best no children, unless they are visiting and are gentle.<br/><br/>We would absolutely to find this beautiful little man a forever home. He deserves the stability and love once and for all.<br/><br/>(History - we were told that he came from Ukraine, and we do not know any information on breeding.
