Tostito's Story
Call him Tostito, Toastie, Tito, or really anything you want - as long as you love him.

Toastie is some kind of Terrier (?) mixed with brown sugar and melted butter. His sweet affection just melts right into you.

He's 13 lbs and about ten years old, but please don't tell him that. We tell him he's just a baby, and he believes us.

Toastie's life was tough before he came to us. He lost an ear and even survived a house fire. His defense against an unpredictable and scary world was to become sweet, submissive, and absolutely perfect. He's always checking in to make sure, "We're still okay?" and, "You still love me, right?"

He needs a home that is quiet, loving, and reassuring. And in return, he will give you all the sweet love, kisses, and cuddles you can possibly soak up.

Toastie is crate trained and 100% housebroken. He also cohabitates beautifully with the dogs he lives with. He is not approved for cats.

He loves his stuffies and he LOVES his ball. But he loves a walk most of all! HE GETS SO EXCITED when the leash comes out! Toastie goes for a one mile walk around the block and then takes a fantastic midday nap.

Toastie IS a tripping hazard. (No, we're not kidding.)

He will throw himself belly-up directly at your feet at every opportunity, and his foster has nearly killed himself several times trying not to step on him. It's honestly adorable - but a real consideration if you're at all unsteady on your feet or, say, carrying a pot roast.

Do you have enough love in your heart to give this senior fella the second life he deserves?

We know he has more than enough love to give you right back.

Filling an application is the first step to meet him! -
www.RochesterRASCALS.org/dogs
