MEET TOSHI! STATS: 3 years old, neutered, American Staffy Mix, 48 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: My name is Toshi and I am probably the goofiest dog you will ever meet! I will keep you giggling all day with my antics. I love playing with other dogs A LOT and since I have a lot of energy, it’s the best way for me to get my exercise. Once I get some playtime in, I am really sweet and love being scratched and getting affection! WHAT I LOVE: I love playing outside, playing with other dogs, running so fast that I trip over my feet (which I do a lot!) and enjoying the company of my human friends! I would love to have a yard where I can do my legendary zoomies. I have so much spunk and pep in my step, you better try and keep up with me! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would be best with older dog-savvy kids/teens since I do have a lot of energy. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who wants an active and playful best friend who is down to go hiking, run around outside, and get our energy out together. I am very treat motivated, so I would love to learn other tricks beyond sit (which I am GREAT at!) SPECIAL NOTE: I absolutely love playing in the kiddie pool with my dog friends! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
