She is a young dog herself; the vet thinks she's about 2 years old. Torrie is a little shy when she meets new people, particularly men. She warms up with kind words and yummy treats. We think she just needs time to realize that people really like her and won't hurt her. Because she is shy, she might not feel safe in a home with the hustle and bustle of young children, but she is very polite with children visitors. Torrie LOVES other dogs and prefers female dogs. We would really like for her to go to a home with another friendly dog to be buddies with, although we would consider homes without other dogs as well. We also would like her to go to a home with a fenced in yard.</div> </div> <p style='font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;'>Torrie is super sweet! She loves to have her chest and tummy scratched and really appreciates hearing that 'Torrie girl is a gooood puppy!' She curls her ears and wags, wags, wags. Torrie loves toys! Torrie is super sweet! She loves to have her chest and tummy scratched and really appreciates hearing that 'Torrie girl is a gooood puppy!' She curls her ears and wags, wags, wags. Torrie loves toys! She is very good about going into her crate for meals and enjoys feeling safe in her 'den.'
