Tori need s to be the only 4 legged in the home. She needs a warm home, soft bed and a family to love her. She's a favorite of our volunteers, 65 lbs, vaccinated and is spayed and chipped. Seeking foster, adopter or rescue. <br/><br/>Tori has a high prey-drive so we believe she needs to be the only pet in the household. She's cuddly, loves treats and is such a good girl.

Blue Island Stray Dog Project's Adoption Policy

We have potential adopters fill out an application (linked on PetFinder or please email Blueislandstrays@gmail.com). Once we get a potential adopters application, we process background checks, vet checks, and reference checks. We like to speak and get to know the adopter to ensure a good fit and set up the adopter and the dog for success! Once approved for adoption, we like to conduct home visits when possible, and if a potential adopter has another dog in the house, we make it mandatory for dog meets with the other dog; sometimes, more than once.
