***Topaz***<br/>7 year old female yellow Labrador Retriever mix<br/>Hi…I’m Topaz, and I am soooo ready to find my forever home and people!!<br/><br/>All the nice people at LELRR don’t know much about me as I was found as a stray, and I’m not telling my secrets, but my foster mom is pretty good at reading me! She says that I’m one of the easiest dogs she’s been around! Truth is, I’m pretty laid back, and not much fazes me! Though I admit I am pretty cautious around men…but I’ve met a few really nice ones now and I’m getting braver…I may bark a few times but I will go up to them now and ask for head scritches. And scritches are LIFE 🩷 <br/><br/>My foster mom is pretty sure I lived in a home, as my house manners are awesome! I had a few accidents the first day here, but I was nervous coming out of the kennel. I figured out pretty quick I was safe and relaxed the nerves away! Being in a house is the BEST! <br/><br/>Now I may not be all Lab, but my belly is all Lab! I’m a good eater and my foster is making me tell you that free choice feeding is not a good idea…booooo!! I’m getting better at not begging for table scraps…just ignore the few drops of drool as I stare at you while you eat. <br/><br/>Right now I live with a pack of dogs, like, a bunch…and dogs come and go all the time. I really enjoy all of them, and I’m learning how to play with them. I’m on the older side, so I’m not crazy with energy, but I do like to run and chase with the others, especially in the snow! I can be goofy and silly, but my go to vibe is chill. I would probably enjoy having a sibling or 2, especially if you aren’t home all the time, but would also probably enjoy having you all to myself if you’re home most of the time! <br/><br/>I am basically the perfect, imperfect girl! It took me about 23 minutes to get my foster mom to love me…let’s see how fast I can make YOU love me! It won’t take long for me to love you!
