Meet Tootsie! Tootsie came to CCHS towards the beginning of October from a local farm. This beautiful Cattle Dog mix is about 4 years old and weighs roughly 32.1lbs currently. Tootsie is a bashful gal that can be a little on the timid side! She is very sweet in nature but is a little unsure of new people given her past life being bred, but she is ready to live out her retirement learning all the joys humans can offer her! Tootsie would benefit from a quiet and patient furever home that can meet her where she is at with a gentle, loving touch. While we are not entirely certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she is 100% Sweet-Baby-Angel! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
