Tootsie's Story
6/9/26 - Broken Lance ct x Temecula no mc. VC ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW ***** Intact female ~1 yr. old 65 pounds Vaccines given 6-10-26 No microchip ALT ID# 6-9-26 34 6-13-26 nice, nervous, scared to walk on leash, carried 7/1/26 - Dog was nervous on leash but picked up pretty quickly on how to walk on one. The barking from the other dogs made her nervous and she greeted the quiet dogs when passing. She could be pet head to tail with no issues, very much enjoys sitting on staff’s lap and cuddling with them. She is a big kisser and covered staff with kisses and slobber. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull NOW; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
