Please read the following information<br/>TOOTIE is in foster care in West Hartford, Ct<br/><br/>houstonshaggydogrescue.org <br/><br/><br/>This is TOOTIE .. one of the 4 little pups that were found dumped at a local park<br/>TOOTIE is 10 lbs and was born approx December 1st 2025.. .she will<br/>probably be in the 15 to 25 lb + range when fully grown .just a heinz 57 terrier mix ..her Dna shows her to be a Chihuahua/Poodle along with multiple other breed mixes thrown in..she loves her toys , loves to run and play with her buddies in the yard , she is pretty active and just a sweetheart.., ... she has a very sweet disposition..she will need leash and house training and needs a fully fenced in and secure yard to run off some of her puppy energy and a companion/playmate<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $500<br/><br/>We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.. and only to experienced dog owners.<br/><br/>All of our dogs are spayed/neutered,microchipped , vaccines including Rabies,Dhpp,Bordatella and Canine Ingluenza and all are on monthly preventatives for Heartworms,Fleas/Ticks and Parasites<br/><br/>www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org<br/><br/>FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK

Adoption Application: Shaggy Dog Rescue wants to find the perfect home for all the dogs in our care. Therefore, we are very strict in our adoption policies. Steps in the adoption process: Fill out and return our adoption application After receiving your application, we would like to discuss with your veterinarian We will contact you to discuss the Adoptee, to see if we can make the perfect match After discussion, we will arrange a home visit for you to meet your prospective new family member & friend Upon agreement by all parties, sign adoption contract and give adoption donation for your Adoptee We do ask that for 3 months after adopting you email us photographs & progress reports of your new pet Complete the application process at www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org Submission of Application does not guarantee approval. NOTE: Shaggy Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. The adoption fee is a donation to defray veterinarian cost of these rescued dogs. The fee is non-refundable and to be paid at the time of adoption. No exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption we feel is not in the best interest of the dog or the adopter. Completion of this application does not guarantee approval for adoption. By submitting this application you agree to the Terms of Adoption above.
