Toofers is on a survivor's journey to love and trust
Toofers, a small dog with a heart that's weathered abandonment, is in search of a patient and understanding forever home. Poor toofers was found inside of a dumpster, like a piece of trash.
Despite a tendency towards fear-based reactions, he has been great with a 13 year old calm boy in his foster home. He is understandably afraid of sudden movements, so slow and steady wins the race with him.
In the canine world, Toofers maintains a peaceful coexistence, mostly ignoring his small housemates. Possessiveness over a chew toy can lead to snarls and snaps. This little one has his quirks, but a skilled and patient owner can navigate the path towards healing.
Toofers would be a great apartment dog, he shows a preference for the security of home. A crate in the master bathroom serves as a sanctuary, offering a sense of comfort that he genuinely appreciates.
