Tony

**Meet Tony! **

Tony is a handsome chocolate and white Shih Tzu who is beginning his new life after being released from a breeding facility. While the world is still a little overwhelming to him, each day brings new opportunities to learn that people can be kind and life can be full of love.

Tony is a sweet, gentle boy who is still shy, especially when it comes to being picked up. He does well with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys having them around, but he's still learning to trust people and settle into the comforts of home. With patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, Tony will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Because everything is so new to him, Tony is **not leash trained** and is currently afraid of the leash. For his safety, he will require a **securely fenced yard that is attached to the home** while he builds confidence. His adopter should be prepared to let him progress at his own pace and celebrate the small victories along the way.

Tony has already had a dental, is neutered, and is ready to find the family who will give him the time and understanding he deserves. Watching a breeder-release dog learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and Tony has so much potential waiting to shine.

If you're looking for a loyal companion and have the patience to help a shy little guy discover how wonderful life can be, Tony may be the perfect addition to your family.

**Tony's adoption fee is $450 plus tax.**
Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org
