I am getting ready to celebrate my 3rd Birthday and would love it to be with my new family!<br/><br/>I’m an adorable Australian Kelpie with a sweet, gentle heart and a happy spirit. I love playing with other dogs—or with my toys when it’s just me. Walks, yard time, or chasing water straight from the hose (my favorite!) are all on my list of fun.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. What I really need is someone patient who will give me time to feel safe. Once I do, you’ll see my sweet side shine—I’ll be right there for belly rubs, back scratches, snuggles on the couch, and maybe even watching TV with you. I’m a softie when it comes to treats (literally, I take them very gently!) and I already know “sit.” My recall? Pretty good... unless something really exciting distracts me!<br/><br/>I’ve been to the dog park, done pack walks, and even spent time at Club Hound—I love being around other pups and running free. I’ve also met a cat or two and didn’t make a fuss. I am house trained and mannerly too!<br/><br/>One thing to know about me: I have some vision impairment. It doesn’t slow me down much, though—I just occasionally bump into things in new places. At home, you’d hardly notice. I would like to have a fenced yard to run and play in safely.<br/><br/>I’ve been blossoming so much in my foster home, and now I’m ready to share all my love, fun, and snuggles with my forever person.
