When you first meet me, I’ll probably wiggle my whole body because I’m genuinely excited to say hello. After that, my perfect day is simple: a little adventure, a lot of love, and being near my person.<br/><br/>My absolute favorite thing in the world is a sniff walk on my retractable leash. Let me explore a bit, follow my nose, check out the neighborhood… then I’m ready to head home, curl up on the couch, and snooze next to you. I’m a toy guy, too — give me something plush or squeaky and I’m a happy boy. Mostly, I just want to hang out and be included. That’s where I shine.<br/><br/>I like people of all kinds, and with slow, proper introductions I can be friends with dogs and even cats. I’m social, gentle, and goofy — the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying.<br/><br/>I’ve also been practicing some “grown-up dog” skills. My off-leash recall is getting better every day, and I’m brushing up on basic manners. I’m crate trained, too — I might whine a bit at first, but I settle down with a routine and a calm voice. Baths and nail trims?
