Tommie's Story

TOMMIE (short for Tomasa) is a female Carolina dog mix who is approximately a year and a half old and 35 pounds. She was found as a stray in Mexico and we got her from Chula Vista. She is great with dogs and has bonded with Bowie. (We’d love to see them adopted together!) She starts out a bit shy with people, but she warms up pretty quickly. All you need is a treat and a soft, warm voice and she’ll melt into a sweetie pie. Her only issue is that she can easily jump over a 6 foot fence … so a fence taller than that would be necessary in her new home.
