But here’s the truth no one sees behind the laughs: Tom is struggling.<br/><br/>Over eight long months in a kennel has taken a toll on his body. His playful spirit is strong, but his health is not. His GI system is stressed, his energy is depleted, and frankly… he’s losing his spark.<br/><br/>Tom didn’t deserve this. He was moments from losing his life when we pulled him — literally minutes. Some of us have been told the same thing.<br/>“You’re too much.”<br/>“You’ll never get your dream job.”<br/>“You’ll never find your person.”<br/><br/>We aren’t changing him — we believe there’s someone out there who gets it. Who knows what it’s like to be too much for the wrong people… and absolutely perfect for the right one.<br/><br/>Tom needs out. His body needs peace, his spirit needs joy, his heart needs someone of his own.<br/><br/> Larger-than-life personality<br/>Crate trained, rides well in the car<br/>Neutered, microchipped, up to date on everything<br/>Huge snuggler, toy lover<br/>Prefers to be your one and only dog<br/>Did okay with a dog-savvy cat who sets boundaries<br/>Good with older, respectful kids<br/><br/>His adoption fee is waived.<br/>We require an application, references, and a home visit because after everything he’s survived, we owe him that much.<br/><br/>We saved him once. Now, we’re asking — will you save him for good?
