This little adventurer is searching for a patient and loving family that shares his love for playing outside, going on walks, cuddling on the couch and working on training.<br/><br/>Tom is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. He is slowly building his confidence. He can be nervous with meeting new people but warms up with slow introductions. He absolutely loves other dogs and would do best with a playful canine companion. He can be cautious of new people coming into the home, but is working on building his confidence.<br/><br/>He may try to chase cats or small animals but is a good listener and can be redirected quickly. He doesn’t mind being in the car, is crate trained and is learning to walk on the leash. On the leash he backs away from road when anything comes by - car, kids running, kid on bike. - scares and barks at things that move, such as trash barrel blowing over. He would prefer walks in low traffic areas.<br/><br/>Tom Sawyer is a bright puppy with lots of energy. He jumps a bit when excited, so he’ll need a family that is willing to work on building his confidence. We highly recommend obedience training for all puppies to learn commands, build confidence and socialize. We are confident that with puppies as smart as the Storybook litter, training will be a breeze and lots of fun!<br/><br/>Tom Sawyer is looking for a loving fur-ever family to share the next chapter of life together!
