Toby's Story
Toby is a floppy, ridiculous, joyful goofball who will make you laugh on your worst days. He's the dog who's velcroed to your side during movie night on the couch, and methodically dismantling a squeaky or stuffed toy five minutes later. He's crate trained, house trained, and quick to learn.
Toby isn't just looking for a home. He has earned one.
One year old. Sixty pounds. The youngest dog in Underdog's history to test positive for heartworm, and determined to bounce back from it. Treatment? Done. Recovery? Underway. By mid-July, he's fully cleared and ready to run as much as he can handle.
He does best in a home without shared walls, as a busy, noisy apartment wasn't his scene. But give him a settled home and he blooms. He has been great with kids 10 and up, though he hasn't quite figured out how to dial back his enthusiasm so he might be a bit much for younger kids. He plays well with other dogs when introduced right, and has enough love stored up to light up any room he walks into.
Toby survived something most dogs never have to face. He came out the other side wagging his tail and looking for love.

All he needs now is you.

Interested in this sweet dog?
