Toby Beagle Mix West Decatur, PA

Hi! My name is Toby, & I'm a super sweet 8-year old male beagle/golden retriever mix. I'm very lovable & want to be with my people! I've lived with another dog & a 14-month old child, & I was great with both of them! In fact, I'm very submissive with other animals. I like to hang out on the couch with my people, & preferably sleep in bed with them at night. I'm housetrained & will scratch at the door or bark when I need to go outside. I'm great in a car! I like to sit in the back seat & rest my head on my person's shoulder while they drive. I love cheese! However, I'm allergic to bread, & so I have to be on grain-free dog food. I also love soft toys, but I like to tear them up :) If I'm barking too much while you are home, just say, "Toby, No Bark" & I'll be quiet. I will chase cats & run up to other dogs - but just in play. I'm weigh a little over 40 lbs. & I pull when on a leash. I really want to be with people, especially when in a new situation. Once I get adjusted to my new home, I should be ok being alone. I will bark when my people leave, at least while I'm adjusting to my new home. And so, I need a home where the neighbors won't get upset if they hear me bark while you are away from the house. I like to get on the furniture & look out the window while my person is away. I'm a bit of an escape artist, though. If you aren't quick to close the door, I might dash out! But I'm such a good dog! I'm already neutered. I'm anxiously waiting for my forever home! Are you it?
