Toby's Story
Meet Toby 🐾

Toby’s story didn’t start easy—but it says everything about the dog he is today.

He was adopted as a young puppy by an elderly woman who simply didn’t understand his breed or his instincts. Like many herding-type dogs, Toby began nipping at heels—a behavior that, without guidance, can quickly become a problem. At just 6 months old, he was set to be euthanized for it.

But someone saw him for what he truly was.

The attending doctor refused and instead took Toby into their care. What followed was a second chance—one that Toby has made the absolute most of. He has spent the last year and a half growing, learning, and becoming a well-rounded dog.

Today, Toby is a completely different dog. He’s been training at MuttWorks in the Barklatex, enjoying daycare with other dogs of all sizes and does great. He’s social, stable, and has been doing wonderfully with obedience. He’s a smart boy who just needed direction—and now that he has it, he shines.

Toby is fully vetted, healthy, and ready for a real home of his own.

He’s the kind of dog who didn’t just get lucky—he earned his second chance. Now he’s just waiting for someone to give him the life he’s been working toward.

FENCED YARD AND APPLICATION REQUIRED AT https://form.jotform.com/51485238297970
