Toby is a 44 lb, 2-year old Boxer, Boston Terrier, and Pit Bull Terrier mix. If Toby was a human, he would be that shy boy that stands at the edge of the crowd at school dances. He would have close friends and stick with them, not wandering far. He would be a little uncomfortable in new situations but adapt with time. His warm and sweet personality would touch your heart. He would also possess the virtue of humility because he does not want to draw attention to himself but instead gives that opportunity to others. Toby needs a home with a family who has patience and understands a shy dog. In his foster home, he is more comfortable when his foster brother is nearby, so he would do best in a home with a confident dog to help him feel brave. For his safety, interested applicants will need to have a fenced yard. If adopting a puppy under 4 months old, we also require a group puppy socialization course be started immediately upon adoption.<br/><br/>In addition, we require that puppies under 6 months of age will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time in an 8 hour workday.
