TOBO

TOBO is a large pup, Pedigree Chocolate Lab. His original owner paid a huge adoption fee to a Breeder, received his impressive Pedigree paperwork then did not continue with any training or give him the attention that he craved. When we received TOBO the harness that was put on him when he was much younger had now grown into the flesh under his arms. Even though Tobo had never been in a house prior to my Foster Home, he was well mannered and learned how to use the dog door quickly. (He must be walked / ran daily. All dogs learn faster, mind better and are all around better behaved when they've released their energy.) TOBO gets along well with other dogs, he is very curious and extremely eager to please. He is still very puppy like but is easy to train. Our foster mom worked diligently with leash training him, he heals nicely when walking. When he came to live with me I began working with him on sit / stay...... when I put his food bowl down he must sit until I release him to “eat.” He has lunged at cats while on his walks with me. He is corrected quickly with “OFF” sharp tug on his leash. He needs an appropriate tempered human to train him correctly. TOBO is neutered and up to date on his vaccines, microchipped & on Heart Guard. We have his Pedigree paperwork. He could easily be trained to become a Service Dog.
