Tobey's Story

🐾 Tobey 5 1/2 month old hound

Tobey (formerly Dopey) was recently adopted back in February , but unfortunately the placement was not the right fit for him. He was struggling with one of the young children in the home, so he has returned to our care while we continue searching for the family best suited for him.

Born 11/28/25, this handsome hound mix is still the same playful, smart, goofy puppy we know and love. He absolutely loves people he feels comfortable with and enjoys being active and having fun.

Tobey would do best in a home better matched to his needs, (no small children) where he can continue to grow, learn, and thrive with consistency and guidance.

He’s an active, affectionate puppy who deserves a family willing to give him the understanding and structure he needs to succeed.

📍Interested in meeting Tobey?
