Tobe's Story

Who could resist a dog who asks for so little and offers so much in return?

Toby is not asking for a mansion or a fancy bed or an endless supply of treats, though he certainly would not turn any of those things down. He is simply asking for a home where someone will look at him, love him, and give him the good life he so clearly deserves.

At seven years old, Toby carries himself like the king of the castle he always should have been. He is a fine gentleman through and through, with a calm and easy nature that makes him a joy to be around. He is the definition of an easygoing pup, content to relax nearby and take each day as it comes.

Toby came to C.A.R.E. as an owner surrender, through no fault of his own. Sometimes life changes in ways that are entirely outside of a dog's control, and Toby found himself in need of a new home. He does not carry any baggage from this experience. He remains sweet, steady, and ready to trust again.

Toby gets along well with small dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a household that already has a gentle companion for him, or one that is ready to welcome him as the sole ruler of the house. Either way, he will settle in like he has been there all along, holding court from the most comfortable spot in the room.

If you are looking for a calm, easy, undemanding companion who simply wants to be loved and cared for in his golden years, Toby is ready to meet you.

Toby
