Toaster's Story

"Meet Toaster, the sweetest, squishiest little loaf you’ll ever meet. He’s the greatest thing since sliced toast! 🍞 This 4-year-old bulldog is the definition of easygoing and spends most of his day doing what he does best: lounging, napping, and soaking up affection from his people.

Toaster absolutely adores humans and seems to love everyone he meets. He’s wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and even appears to be cat friendly based on his overnight foster visit. His favorite place in the world is right next to (or preferably on top of) his person—he’s a 40+ pound lap dog who has absolutely no concept of personal space. If you’re on the couch, expect Toaster to be smooshed up beside you for maximum cuddle contact.

While he’s mostly a mellow couch potato, Toaster does get little bursts of playful energy and enjoys tossing around toys before returning to his regularly scheduled lounging. He’s a quiet, chill guy who isn’t much of a barker and is generally pretty unflappable about life.

He’s also been doing well with house training when taken out regularly.

A note for adopters: Toaster is heartworm positive, and is being treated. He is asymptomatic and enjoys a normal life.

If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate companion who will happily double as a weighted blanket, Toaster might just be your perfect match. 🐾"

Toaster is being fostered in Lone Tree, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/toaster/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
