Toast's Story

Toast is the cutest thing since sliced bread! His head looks like a Pomeranian, his body looks like a Dachshund and Terrier mix, and from behind he looks like a Chihuahua. Toast loves sleeping on your feet and standing up against your leg begging for pets while he gazes into your soul. He’s quite friendly while also a little shy. Toast is very playful and can entertain himself with toys, sometimes even throwing them for himself to go get. He’s great with other dogs, even if he hasn’t fully figured out how to play with them yet. Toast’s little underbite is the best and if you look at him at the right angle, he has two little chiclet teeth that are always visible. We would recommend a home with no shared walls, as he likes the sound of his own voice. He’s about 1.5 years old and around 8 lbs.

Toast is in foster in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/toast

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
