Hi, I'm Toad! I'm an 8-month-old merle cutie with a big personality packed into a small body. I don't think I'm going to get very big, but what I lack in size, I more than make up for in charm, energy, and enthusiasm!<br/>Like any puppy, I love to play, chew, bark, explore, and occasionally test the limits of what I can get away with. My foster brother and sister have been helping teach me manners and boundaries, and I'm doing a great job learning from them. Because of that, I'd love a home with another friendly dog who doesn't mind me being all up in their business and is willing to help show me the ropes.<br/>I'm making great progress with house training. I usually let my foster mom know when I need to go outside, and while we occasionally have a miscommunication, I really do try my best to tell her! I'm a smart boy who wants to do the right thing.<br/>One of my favorite things is going for walks and sniffing absolutely everything. The world is full of exciting smells, and I want to investigate them all!<br/>Now, let's be honest: I'm still a puppy. That means I may crawl all over you, nip at your hands when I'm excited, chew things I shouldn't, and cry when I can't find my people. If you're looking for a perfectly polished dog, I'm not there yet. But if you're looking for a sweet, goofy puppy who will make you laugh every day while growing into an amazing companion, I might be your perfect match.<br/>Because I'm still young and active, I need a single-family home with a securely fenced yard where I can safely play and burn off energy. I'd do best with older children since my puppy teeth can still be pretty sharp.
