Tiva's Story

Let’s continue the puppy fun! This is blue-eyed Tiva, somewhere between 7-9 months old, and weighing just over 14 lbs. She was surrendered to a Kansas shelter by owners who were moving and couldn’t take her for some reason.

Tiva is a playful puppy, loves other dogs but is a relentless play buddy so would love another playful dog in the home, but would also thrive as an only dog with the proper enrichment activities. She’s a puppy, so she loves to chew and is a total toy destroyer. She responds well to correction and will need further training to learn all the commands. She’s nearly perfectly housetrained and her only accidents have been when her foster doesn’t get her outdoors fast enough in the morning. She sleeps like a dream and through the night right next to her foster mom. She’s a great little friend!

Tiva is spayed and up to date on her vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella). She is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative while in rescue. She is also microchipped.

If you are looking to add a beautiful and playful pup to your world, you can find our online adoption application at cominischnauzerrescue.com/adopting-a-dog/adoption-application/

If you are a former adopter, or you have submitted an application in the past 12 months, please message us, no need to fill out a new application.
