Titus's Story

Meet Titus – Small Pup, Big Roman Energy

All hail Titus, the mighty (and ridiculously adorable) 8-week-old pup with a name worthy of an emperor and a heart made entirely of cuddles. Born into a grand litter of 11 puppies (where he stood proudly among 8 brothers), this little Caesar has already conquered his first milestones and is now searching for his forever family to rule with kindness and kisses.

Currently fostered in Vars, east end of Ottawa, Titus has proven himself to be a true gentleman of the empire. He’s had his wellness check, is a healthy, thriving boy, and ready for adoption.

Why Titus is Emperor Material:
• Smart strategist – already knows sit and shake paw
• Highly food motivated – no slow feeder has ever defeated him
• Perfectly balanced – playful yet calm, curious yet composed
• Affection champion – loves pats, cuddles, and delivers endless puppy kisses
• Crate-trained king – sleeps through the night and naps like a pro
• Respectful roommate – polite with his two large foster dog brothers
• Learning the royal potty protocol – working hard on those pee pads

Despite his noble name, Titus is not demanding, just devoted. He’ll happily march over for affection, curl up beside you like a loyal Roman guard, and remind you daily that love (and snacks) are the greatest powers of all.

If you’re looking for a pup with strength, sweetness, and a touch of legendary charm, Titus is ready to take his place in your home, and your heart.

Adopt Titus. Long live the cuddles.

It Takes A Village Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hopeful adopters must fill out an adoption application. All applications are screened and potential matches are contacted. Follow up questions are emailed. A phone call is set up to clarify any questions about the adoption process. At that point the fosters are provided the contact information for the potential adopters. They set up a meet and greet at the fosters home. During the meet the foster will tell the potential adopter the good, the bad. and the ugly about the dog... we want total transparency in order to have an open and successful adoption. After the meet we ask the fosters and the adopters their thoughts. If the adopter would like to proceed, their references are checked and a virtual home visit is conducted. If the adoptable dog has any sort of behavioural or medical issues a plan to address the issue would be required before adoption could proceed. If all is good then the adoption contract is sent out to be signed and returned along with the adoption fee. The foster is given the green light to arrange pick up.
