Tito's Story

Tito is a 3-year-old, 37-pound pup who has endured more than most. Rescued from the streets and brought to the Weslaco shelter with a severely embedded collar that was put on as a puppy and never removed as he grew. Tito spent his life on the streets after fleeing his home, before finally finding safety. Now, he's ready for the love and stability of a forever home.

Though he needs a brief warm-up period to feel secure, Tito quickly shows his affectionate side. He loves other dogs and is especially nurturing toward puppies, making him a wonderful companion for a household with another dog. Until he feels fully safe, he'll do best with a harness and leash to help him build trust.

Tito is playful, gentle, and longing for a family to call his own. After surviving so much, he deserves a home where he can finally relax, be loved, and share his loyal heart.

Tito is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas.

If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip

*The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*

He is heartworm and Chagas negative.
