Meet Tito

One Life To Live Rescue finally has TWO, SWEET AND FRIENDLY "littles" scheduled to arrive on Sunday, Aug. 29th, and we have not been able to get good pictures from the sending shelter. We have been asking for a month...maybe longer. So these will have to do for now. New pics were finally sent.
These babies, Tito and Pinto, are listed as three year old Chihuahua mixes with the sweetest personalities that the shelter workers have ever seen in small dogs. They weigh about 10-12 lbs. Both have been neutered and are up-to-date with vaccinations. Both have been recently treated for heart-worm disease. These sweet babies had to recover from their heart-worm treatment in a kennel environment due to their being a shortage of foster homes. Now they run the risk of not having a place to go when they arrive on transport, due to having crappy pictures and the same issue here.....lack of foster homes. If you can foster, or would like to adopt, Tito or Pinto (they do not need to be placed together but certainly can be) please submit an online application today. You can find the application on the rescue's website at www.OneLifeToLiveRescue.com. A rescue volunteer will be in touch once your application has been reviewed. The suggested adoption donation for each of these dogs is $350 to help recover some of the costs for our ongoing rescue vet bills. Thank you for considering a SWEET, rescued Chihuahua Mix! Little Tito has found his "forever" home! He will now be starting the "happily-ever-after" part of his life in Ithaca, NY!

PLEASE READ: If you are serious about adopting or fostering one of our dogs or puppies, you must first complete and submit an adoption application on our website at www.OneLifeToLiveRescue.com.. The application is ALWAYS the first step in our adoption process. Please do not contact us through pet finder or emails us since that will only be a waste of our time and yours. Much care is taken to include as much information on each dog or puppy as we have on-hand at the time the dogs are posted. Dogs who have adoptions scheduled are marked as "pending" and we will not be taking any applications on those dogs.
We will not adopt a dog to you if all of your current pets are not spayed/neutered. This is a non-negotiable policy. All cats and dogs MUST be up-to-date with their rabies vaccinations, including indoor only cats.
We are trying to strictly follow all suggested safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. All recommendations will be respected with as limited person-to-person contact as allowed. Masks are again required at this time during any and all interaction with others.. We promise to do our best to keep everyone safe while helping our dogs find loving homes during these trying times.
