Tisserie's Story

**A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED**

WANTED: A patient, savvy person to become my shining star. My name is Tisserie, Tissy for short. I was a stray for years, honing skills such as climbing and jumping which have made me widely known in the area. History could be written about the many attempts to capture my wily self, though finally procuring me was rather anticlimactic. I have had a number of litters and thankfully, all those little rascals have been adopted so now I believe it's time to find my furever home. Like I said, patience to bring me out of my shell is necessary, but I know there is a special person out there ready and willing to provide me with a home and love. Of course, other dogs would be just dandy in my new home, but no kitty-cats or young children please. All shining stars encouraged to adopt me!

Tisserie is a VERY skilled fence climber/jumper. A secure 6 ft fence is required. No 6 ft chain-link will be accepted because she can easily climb out. We may ask that you modify your fence in order to give her a safe yard she cannot escape from.

We do have Tissy's DNA from Wisdom Panel: 43% Beagle, 25% Siberian Huskey, 12% Catahoula Leopard Dog, 6% Plott Hound, 3% Chow Chow, 2% Basset Hound, 2% Golden Retriever, 2% English Springer Spaniel, 3% Doberman Pinscher, 1% Chihuahua, & 1% German Shepherd Dog. Quite the Heinz 57!

Tisserie's date of birth is 5/14/2018 and she weighs about 50lbs.

*FCAR rescues that are descendants of Tisserie:

(2022) Cardinal, Davila, Boodrow, Rico, Rumba, Jozi, Simeonette, Mae, & Starling
(2021) Taki, Dorito, Cheeto, Wavy, Pretzel, Pringle, & Ruffles
(2021) Talon, Finch, Eagle
(2020) Post & Malone
& the infamous Birdman!

For videos of our adoptable animals, check out our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/channel/UCeG4XqjKtZFAYVM6EFV4FRQ

All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:

• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian
• Up to date on all vaccinations. Puppies/kittens may require some additional booster shots which we will pay for if coordinated through us and our veterinarian
• Spayed/Neutered
• Microchipped
• 30 day pet health guarantee for local adoptions only (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.)
• 30 day money back guarantee

Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:

• Fenced yard (required for most dogs) and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption if possible. *Fenced yard required. (We do not accept invisible fences.)
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3 months of heartworm prevention
• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility.

Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). We do a physical home/fence inspection prior to completing the adoption if a fence is required, or we may request a home video.

If you are interested in adopting one our dogs or cats, please complete our Online Adoption Application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/ready-to-adopt.
